This video was made from an invitation from Festa da Dança Event 08.
The request was asking me and Rita Natálio to edit a short video with the intention to create a sort of landscape of the contemporary Portuguese dance since
the beginning of its existence, we are talking about the late 80s to nowadays.
When me and Rita started to work with the material something happened.
When we looked at the images put side by side, all we saw was the change of the direction taking its course and the landscape was not possible anymore...
A screaming broken body appearence, a familiar but not known voice struggling, claiming its existence, was what we found.
All the image and sound material was donated from Forum Dança Archive with the direction of Gil Mendo. Image and Sound Editing : Ivo Serra and Rita Natálio.
